Between Light and Shadow

Nuu Muse Contemporary presents an open call for their online exhibition, "Between Light and Shadow," an exploration of the interplay between illumination and obscurity. The exhibition invites artists to explore how light and shadow shape understanding of the world—light illuminates and reveals clarity, while shadow conceals and hints at mysteries. Artists working in digital art, painting, sculpture, multimedia, or any other form are encouraged to submit.

Artists must have at least three years of experience showing their work in public spaces and must submit a CV demonstrating this experience. The submission fee is $35 and allows you to submit up to 3 high-resolution images (300dpi, file size under 10 MB). All medium types are welcome except video media. If selected, one of the three images will be chosen for display in the exhibition. Selected artists will also have the opportunity to be shown on the gallery's Artsy page.

Submissions must include an artist statement (150 word limit), CV, email address, phone number, social media handle(s), and images of artwork(s) with title, media type, size, and price. Artists must have the ability to process credit card payments and ship artwork to buyers. The exhibition runs April 1-30, 2024. International submissions are welcome.
