Between 2 Rivers Artist Trail Event

The inaugural Between 2 Rivers Artist Trail will be held on Saturday, August 19th with artist studios open for visitors. Each tour stop will also host guest artists; all participants will be chosen through a juried process. The intent of this event is to introduce the public to Fayette County and the artistic talent that surrounds the area. The public is encouraged to move from site to site, experiencing a variety of working artist studios, meet the makers, and purchase directly from them. No fees are being charged for this inaugural year and artists retain 100% of the proceeds from their sales.

All hosting studio sites must be located in Fayette County. Applications from guest artists are welcomed from residents of Greene, Fayette, Somerset, Washington, and Westmoreland counties in Pennsylvania; Monongalia and Preston counties in West Virginia; and Garrett County, Maryland. If you are accepted and are not located in Fayette County, you will be assigned to exhibit at a Fayette County artist site.

Artists must submit a bio as well as 3-5 images of their work that represent what will be exhibited. If applying as a host site, please upload one additional image of your studio. Submissions are open to all artists 18 years and older within the defined geographic region. Notifications of acceptance will go out in April.
