About This Call

The 38th annual Best of the Northwest Fall Show is Seattle's premier art and fine craft exhibition. This 3-day in-person event will be held at Hangar 30 in Warren G. Magnuson Park, Seattle, November 6-8. The event features a VIP Preview on Friday morning with higher-priced tickets offering free refreshments, live music, and entry into a prize drawing. General admission opens Friday at 2pm and continues Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 10am-5pm. Admission is $5 in advance or $8 at the door, with free passes available. Food trucks will be on-site during the weekend.

This is a juried event open to all mediums. The jury panel reviews 4 artwork images and one booth image. A non-refundable jury fee is required to apply. Artists not selected in the first round may be placed on a waitlist. Applications close June 10 at midnight. Notifications will be sent June 24, with booth purchases beginning June 25 at 9am on a first-come, first-served basis.

Artist amenities include easy ground floor load-in, free booth sitting, free parking, no commission, free electricity, 10 free passes for customers, and postcards for promotion. Load-in is Thursday November 6 (12-8pm) and Friday November 7 (8am-9:30am). Two $250 cash awards will be given to booths receiving the most People's Choice and Juror's Choice votes, along with a free application coupon and guaranteed spot in the next show. Two Honorable Mentions will also receive a free application coupon and guaranteed spot. Booth sizes range from 10x6 to 15x6, with prices from $605 to $1,183 including a 10% city fee. All artwork must be original and made by the artist. Artists must personally attend their booths throughout the show and comply with Seattle Fire Department requirements regarding fireproofing. A Seattle Business License is required.
