Best of the Decade Solo Exhibitions

R Gallery is seeking to showcase small bodies of work from up to ten individual artists highlighting their best creations of the 2010s. This juried exhibition gives artists an opportunity to show off their favorite pieces or explore how they have grown, developed or changed as an artist over this decade.

Artists' submissions will be judged based on the entire portfolio of 3 to 6 works submitted. The selected artists will exhibit several pieces together, along with the artists' biographies and a narrative statement explaining the grouping of selected works, if desired. Each selected artist will have an approximately 4 foot wide by 5 foot high space to display their works. The show is open to all Colorado artists working in all mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, and mixed-media. It is best to submit pieces less than 30" wide, including frame or case; only a few spots are available for pieces up to 48" wide.

The exhibition runs from December 31, 2019 through January 26, 2020. Entry fee is $35.00. Accepted works must arrive no later than December 29, 2019. All pieces must remain up for the duration of the exhibition and must be for sale. R Gallery will handle all sales and charge a 50% commission. R Gallery reserves the right to sell accepted works online during the exhibition and will send checks to the artist for sales by the 15th of the month following the month in which the sale occurs. Notification of acceptance will be December 19, 2019.
