About This Call
The Berea Arts Fest is a one-day, invitational, multi-arts festival held on the second Sunday in September in historic Berea, Ohio. The 2025 festival will be held Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Coe Lake. Attendance is free and the festival takes place rain or shine. Approximately one hundred professional fine artists and craftspeople will display their works for sale, with performing artists entertaining from multiple locations surrounding Coe Lake. The festival also features a demonstrating artist, an Art Raffle, and a Kids Kreation Station offering hands-on arts experiences for families. Special Exhibits showcase art and cultural projects from groups throughout the greater Cleveland area, including work by persons with disabilities and student art from the Berea School District. Additional amenities include a chalk walk, food vendors, rest areas, and security.
Artists may submit, display, and sell in only one medium. Each artist must be present representing their own work. All work must be original, priced, and signed by the artist. Paintings, drawings, graphics, and other two-dimensional work must be framed, mounted, matted, or displayed tastefully in a portfolio. Three-dimensional works must be displayed safely and stably. The jury fee is $20 and booth spaces are $125 for a 10' x 10' space. Vehicle unloading must be completed by 9:00 a.m., with no vehicles allowed in the exhibit area after that time. No booth may be dismantled before 5:00 p.m. Each exhibitor is responsible for their display area structure, weather protection, sales receipts, and sales tax. The booth fee is refundable by July 11, 2025 with confirmation before the deadline. The jury fee is non-refundable.
