Bend Summer Festival 2026

The Bend Summer Festival is Central Oregon's longest running arts and crafts festival, celebrating over 30 years of showcasing arts and crafts in Bend. The 2026 event will take place in late May as organizers move earlier in the season to beat the summer heat and celebrate the start of summer in Bend. This lively festival enjoys a strong regional audience as well as tourist attendance throughout the weekend, spanning seven city blocks in Downtown Bend with the Fine Arts Promenade placed in the heart of the event. The annual festival also includes music stages, the Oregon Lifestyle Area, a Family Fun Zone, and the Bend Business Showcase area dedicated to resourceful living. The attendance averages 70,000+ people over the course of the weekend.

The festival accepts work in ceramics, digital media, drawing, fiber (not apparel), glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting & drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, upcycled art, and wood. This show has a virtual jury who reviews and accepts applications ongoing until the show is filled, with the first round of jurying starting after January 1, 2026. Artist amenities include a breakfast buffet with coffee and local pastries, drink vouchers, and booth sitting for solo travelers. Two cash awards are given to participating artists: Best of Jury and Best of Show.

Booth fees are $250 for 10x10, $500 for 10x20, and $575 for 10x30 spaces. The festival runs May 30 (11am-8pm) and May 31 (11am-5pm), 2026. Artists pay a 10% commission on gross sales and 5% on custom orders received through the festival. Load in begins at 5:30am on Saturday, May 30, and load out begins at 5:30pm on May 31. Each artist must set up their own tent with significant weights for each tent pole.
