Being Present - PCNW's 26th Juried Exhibition

Being Present is PCNW's 26th Juried Exhibition with an open theme. Professional, mid-career, and emerging lens-based artists from all communities are encouraged to submit work on any theme; all levels of experience and backgrounds are welcome and considered. This year's juror is Gail Gibson, art dealer and owner of G. Gibson Projects in Seattle, Washington.

Selected artists will have their work exhibited in the PCNW gallery from June 27 - August 11, 2024. Selected work will also be featured at the Union Project, an outdoor slideshow venue that PCNW curates, where images will be projected on an approximately 50 x 60 foot exhibition wall on the side of a building in Capitol Hill nightly from sundown until 11pm for the duration of the gallery exhibition. Artists will be responsible for shipping their framed work to and from the gallery. Framed work must arrive to PCNW in Seattle by Monday, June 17, 2024.

Entry fee is $50 for 5 image or video files (minimum); additional files may be submitted for $5 each, up to 10 total (maximum). Submission deadline is May 12, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Accepted artists will be notified via email the week of May 20th. If finances are a barrier, contact Erin at [email protected] to receive a 50% discount code off entry fees. If work is available for sale, PCNW will retain a 10% commission on all work sold and will give 90% to artists.
