Beautiful Possibilities

Woodwalk Gallery is hosting a virtual online exhibition for amateur and professional artists working in 2D mediums. The gallery seeks pieces that demonstrate ingenuity and inspiration, showing talent, keen perception, and heart that evoke excitement and emotion and embody your idea of a beautiful possibility.

The competition is open to all 2D artists residing in the USA whose work is on paper, canvas, or board. Artists may work in painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, hand-pulled prints, collages, graphics, and digital arts. Entrants must be 18 or older. All artwork must be original work created within the past 5 years and not previously shown in Woodwalk Gallery. Prize money: 1st Place $500, 2nd Place $300, 3rd Place $100. Prize-winning artists will be given the opportunity to display their winning entry plus one additional piece in the gallery from May 1 through June 30, 2021.

This virtual exhibition will be housed on the gallery's website during March and April 2021 and promoted through the gallery's social media and email to approximately 3,000 followers. Each artist will have their own page, and viewers can see contact information for possible sales. Artists receive 100% of sales unless they prefer Woodwalk Gallery to broker the sale, in which case the gallery retains 25%. Entry fee is $25.00 plus a $5.00 media fee. Submit 3-10 images through the CAFE website by February 1, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Acceptance notifications will be sent via email during the third week of February. The juror is Elizabeth Meissner-Gigstead, Executive Director of Miller Art Museum, Sturgeon Bay.
