Beautiful Brown

This is an international open call group exhibition inviting artists to submit artworks featuring the color brown in any medium, style, or size. Artworks can be created in any year and should convey the many shades of brown including light, medium, dark, peanut, coffee, cinnamon, chestnut, chocolate, cocoa, cider, walnut, russet, wood, sand, desert, bronze, brunette, sienna, sepia, umber, beige, ecru, and others.

The exhibition is online only and will be live from Saturday, November 8th, 2025 through Friday, December 5th, 2025. The submission deadline is Monday, November 3rd, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Entry fee is $15 for the first artwork and $3 for each additional work submitted (non-refundable). Submit 1-20 jpg images of up to 20 different artworks. For 2D works, crop images to show artwork only. For 3D works, ensure proper lighting, centered composition, and all white background. Do not submit artwork containing nudity, genitalia, racist, offensive, harassing, or erotic themes.

The Hummingbird & Dragonfly Art Gallery, based in Los Angeles, is a sister gallery to KBM Art Gallery with a mission to promote artists through social media curation. All selected artists will have at least one artwork featured on the gallery's social media pages (2K+ Instagram followers and 20K+ X followers), with posts remaining permanently. Artists retain 100% ownership and profits from artwork sales and may display work elsewhere. The gallery directs interested buyers to artists via email or social media. This is a juried exhibition with anonymous jurors. Artists must be 18 years or older, and artworks must be original works by the submitting artist.
