About This Call
The BCD Block Party is a two-day community festival celebrating the creativity, culture, and character of the Bend Central District. As part of this year's festival, regional artists—with priority given to those from Central Oregon—are invited to participate in a curated street-side art market. Forty booth spaces will be available along a closed street in the heart of the district, creating a vibrant makers corridor for festival-goers to explore.
The Artist Market is a key component of Saturday's programming, offering artists the opportunity to sell their work and connect with the community. Approximately 8,000–12,000 attendees are expected over the weekend. Artists of all mediums are encouraged to apply, with an emphasis on original work that reflects craftsmanship, creativity, and a sense of place. All work displayed must be original artwork created by the applying artist; no manufactured, imported, or mass-produced items are allowed.
Booth Fee: $100 per booth with no commission—artists keep 100% of sales. Booth size fits a standard 10'x10' tent (artists supply their own tent, weights, tables, and display equipment). Booths must remain open for the full duration of Saturday festival hours (exact schedule provided upon acceptance). Electricity is not guaranteed. The festival is rain-or-shine with no refunds for cancellations, weather, or no-shows. Load-in instructions, map, and parking details will be emailed two weeks before the event. There are no refunds for confirmed applications that are withdrawn, and no-shows will not be invited to participate in future festivals.
