About This Call
The Bay Harbor Islands Arts Festival is a 2-day, free-to-the-public community event held January 18-19, 2026, in the Town of Bay Harbor Islands. The festival takes place on Kane Concourse in the town's downtown area and will showcase exceptional fine art and craft exhibitors, culinary arts, hands-on activities for families, and live performances. The event anticipates 10,000 attendees and is located in a community of dedicated art buyers and supporters of the arts.
Artists are selected by blind jury based on quality of workmanship, originality, and artistic conception. All work must be done solely by the exhibiting artists. The festival accepts work in the following categories: Mixed Media 2-D, Mixed Media 3-D, Ceramics, Digital, Drawing/Graphics, Glass, Jewelry, Painting (Oil & Acrylic), Watercolor, Photography, Printmaking, Sculpture/Metal, Fiber (2-D), Fiber (Wearable), and Wood. Application deadline is December 13, 2025, with an application fee of $25 and booth fee of $425. Five images are required for each media category entered (four individual work images and one mandatory booth shot). Artist setup occurs January 17, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM with staggered assigned times.
The festival offers artist amenities including drive-up access for unloading and loading, professional 24-hour security, oversized booth spaces, reserved artist parking, and free secure parking for artist RVs. Saturday setup is available with staggered times. The festival is accessible to all artists, including those with disabilities, with accommodations available upon request. Work displayed and sold must be consistent with jury images, and artists may only display and sell in the media category in which their work was accepted. Original artwork only; non-original promotional items are not permitted.
