About This Call

The Gloucestershire Printmaking Cooperative offers an annual artist residency for printmakers to celebrate the contribution to printmaking by Barbara Webb, one of the GPC's Founder Members. The residency is a 4-month printmaking residency open to international artists working in mixed-media/multi-discipline.

Barbara Webb studied at the John Cass School, London and at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington. Her work was mainly concerned with urban landscapes in all forms of printmaking. She was a founder member of Camden Print Makers and an active member of the Gloucestershire Printmaking Cooperative. Three of her screen prints are in the Government Art Collection. In 2009 she took part in "Art in Action" where she demonstrated etching. She has exhibited extensively in London, including in the Summer Exhibitions at the Royal Academy. Widely travelled and with a wealth of experience in the arts of printmaking, Barbara's eye for detail and skill resulted in images that have a timeless quality which is pleasing to both the eye and the soul.

Location: Thrupp, Stroud, Gloucestershire GL5 2AZ, United Kingdom. Submission Deadline: March 30, 2026.
