About This Call
The Avon Arts Celebration is an annual art show held in Avon, Colorado, in the Vail Valley. July is the peak season for visitors in the region, making it an ideal time to reach affluent customers. The Avon Arts Celebration is the only art show held between Vail and Beaver Creek in July.
The show accepts all forms of original fine art and fine crafts, including painting, sculpture, metal, glass, printmaking/drawing, ceramics, mixed media, jewelry, wood, fiber, and photography. Artists must submit 4 digital images of their work and 1 image of their display. If applying in multiple categories, submit 4 images for each category. The artist must be present to exhibit and exhibit only their own original work. A Picture ID is required at check-in. Only white tents are allowed. No buy/sell transactions are permitted.
Application fee is $50 per juried category (non-refundable). Booth fees are due upon acceptance: Single 10x10 booth is $475; Single 10x10 with corner is $550; Double 10x20 is $899; Double 10x20 with corner is $950; Double 10x20 with 2 corners is $999. All withdrawals from the jury process must be submitted in writing before the application deadline. After the deadline, accepted artists are charged for their booth spot. Cancellations more than 60 days before the event receive a non-transferable show credit valid for 2 years. Cancellations within 60 days result in forfeiture of all fees. The jury panel consists of 3 jurors who score applications on a scale of 1-10. Approximately 150 applications are submitted annually, with an average of 110 artists selected to participate.
