Autumn Vibes

Art Mozaik Gallery is accepting entries for a juried art competition open to artists from all over the United States. "Autumn Vibes" seeks work that captures the essence of autumn—its transitions, textures, moods, and metaphors. This could include the beauty and melancholy of fading nature, themes of change, release, and transformation, the richness of autumnal palettes, harvest, memory, and stillness, shadows growing longer, light softening, and the cozy, eerie, or nostalgic. Selection criteria include interpretation, uniqueness and originality, demonstrated excellence of technique, and color and intensity.

Applications are accepted from living artists over the age of 18. All works must be original and for sale, with a minimum price of $150. Artwork must be no larger than 320 square inches (16"x20") including frame. Eligible 2D media include paintings in all mediums (oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, color pencil, mixed media), drawing, photography, and printmaking. No 3D media, craft, copies, diptychs, or computer-generated work. Entries must not be derivatives of copyrighted or published work, and must not have been produced as part of class instruction. All accepted artworks must be ready to hang/display with proper hardware.

Entry fee is $45. Submission deadline is September 19, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Artwork must arrive by September 29, 2025. Jury dates are September 20-21, 2025. Notification date is September 21, 2025. Exhibition dates are October 1-31, 2025, with a reception on October 10, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. Unsold works pickup is November 1-2 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Artists from out of state should provide a return shipping label; without one, shipping and handling costs of $80 will be the artist's responsibility.
