Austin Open Call | Group + Solo Exhibitions

Sí Gallery, located in the East Sixth neighborhood of Downtown Austin, is accepting submissions for both in-gallery and online exhibitions. Exhibition lengths may vary from 6 to 12 weeks for in-gallery shows and 3 to 6 months for online exclusives. Submission considerations are for 2023. Featured artists are invited and encouraged to attend receptions, and a selected few may be invited for recorded artist interviews and/or panel discussions.

Entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with additional images available at $5 per image (maximum 20 images total). An optional video consultation with the gallery director is available for $100. The consultation includes in-depth review of your submission, website, social media, biography, and artist statement, with feedback designed to improve your online presence and increase exhibition invitations. Consultations are limited to 1 hour maximum, conducted via Zoom, and recorded for your reference. You will have 90 days to schedule your consultation. Consultations are non-refundable regardless of invitation status.

Artists selected for exhibition will be considered for Dab Art Co. gallery representation, which includes priority consideration for future exhibitions, professional consultation, portfolio assistance, and marketing support. The gallery retains a 50% commission on all exhibition sales. Notifications are generally sent within 2 weeks after the close of each calendar month. Selected artists receive either an "Invited" status for immediate exhibition placement or "Wait List" status, with waitlisted artists guaranteed at least one exhibition (online or gallery) within the calendar year. All work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own sole copyright. Frames, mats, and wiring must be professional quality. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping with prepaid return labels.
