Austin 2024 Open Call for Exhibition

Sí Gallery, located in the East Sixth neighborhood of Downtown Austin, is accepting submissions for solo and group exhibitions in both gallery and online formats. Exhibition lengths vary from 6 to 12 weeks for in-gallery shows and 3 to 6 months for online exclusives. Featured artists are invited to attend receptions, and a selected few may be invited for recorded artist interviews or panel discussions. Artists selected for exhibition will also be considered for Dab Art Co. gallery representation, which includes priority consideration for future exhibitions, professional consultation, portfolio assistance, and marketing support.

Submissions must include a minimum of 3 images and a maximum of 20 images, along with a biography and/or artist statement, artist website link, and links to at least one social media platform. All mediums and genres are considered, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, glass, fiber, functional work, digital art, photography, installation, and mixed media. All work must be original, unsold, and the artist must own the sole copyright. For 2D artwork, pieces must be ready to hang with professional-quality frames, mats, and wiring. Artists are responsible for round-trip shipping using prepaid UPS or FedEx return labels.

Entry fee is $35 for 3 images, with an additional $5 per image up to a maximum of 20 images. An optional video consultation with the gallery director is available for $100, offering in-depth feedback on submissions and professional guidance. Submissions are reviewed weekly, and notifications are generally sent within 2 weeks after the close of each calendar month. Selected artists receive a 50% commission split on all sales through the gallery's Artsy platform, with remittance provided within 5-7 business days after exhibition close or sale completion.
