August Group Art Show

The Jones Gallery, located in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, invites applications for the August Group Art Show. The gallery is housed in a 100-year-old historically registered warehouse with 9,000 sq. ft. of display space featuring original exposed brick. The gallery has been in business for 10 years and is open full-time six days a week.

This group art show is open only to 2D artists and photographers. No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed. The gallery may select up to a maximum of 3 originals to exhibit. Artwork must not exceed 48" width x 72" height and must be wired on the back ready to hang. Entry fee is $30 for up to 5 entries. The exhibition runs Wednesday, July 29th through Thursday, August 27th, 2020, with a First Friday Artist Reception on August 7th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Artists receive 75% of sales; the gallery retains 25%. Local artists should deliver work Friday, July 31st or Saturday, August 1st (11:00 am to 5:00 pm). National artists may ship work anytime after selection through Saturday, August 1st and are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance. All shipped artwork must include a prepaid return shipping label. Unsold artwork will be returned within two weeks following the exhibition closing date. Artists are notified by email of sales and should replace sold pieces at their earliest convenience; out-of-state artists are not required to replace sold work. Pickup for local artists is Friday, August 28th or Saturday, August 29th (11:00 am to 5:00 pm).
