August 2021 Group Art Show

The Jones Gallery, located in the Kansas City Crossroads Arts District, invites applications for the August 2021 Group Art Show. The gallery is housed in a 100-year-old historically registered warehouse with 9,000 sq. ft. of display space and has been in business for over 10 years, open full time six days a week.

This group art show is open to 2D artists, 3D artists, and photographers. No reproductions of original paintings or drawings are allowed. The gallery will jury 0, 1, 2, or a maximum of 3 pieces to exhibit. The entry fee is $30 for up to 5 image submissions (minimum 3 images required). Artists must submit 3-5 images of their work. The show runs Wednesday, August 4th through Thursday, August 26th, with a First Friday Artist Reception on August 6th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Maximum artwork size is 48" width x 72" height.

Artists receive 75% of sales; the gallery retains 25%. Payment to artists will be made by Wednesday, September 1st. Local artists should deliver work Friday, July 30th or Saturday, July 31st (11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). National artists may ship work anytime after selection through Saturday, July 31st; artists are responsible for round-trip shipping and insurance, and must include prepaid return shipping labels. All artwork must be wired on the back and ready to hang. Unsold artwork will be returned within two weeks of the closing date. The gallery does not assume liability for loss or damage to artwork. Artists not delivering work in the required timeframe without contacting the gallery will be disqualified with no refund. Artwork not picked up within 30 days of closing will be donated to charity.
