About This Call

Price Sculpture Forest is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public sculpture park and nature preserve set within a mature native Pacific Northwest habitat north of Seattle, Washington. This exhibition features an Augmented Reality experience where your real-world physical sculpture will be digitally transformed for onsite exhibition through a custom AR phone app created exclusively for this exhibition. Visitors will download the free app onsite (free high-speed WiFi provided) and view your sculpture via a QR code on your sculpture plaque. They can see your high-resolution sculpture in apparent 3D on the pedestal, walk around it to view from all angles, and take pictures with it. The app will include information about you, your website/social media, and contact information for sales inquiries.

Sculptures will be exhibited in small groups and rotated over time with plans for repeat appearances. You will also receive a user-interactive, rotatable 3D version of your sculpture that you can share from any web browser or your own website and use freely for promotion.

The exhibition features two themes: Nature Nurtured (beauty and appreciation for the natural world, including living creatures, plants, and non-living natural elements) and Whimsy Way (fun and joyful art experiences, including quirky, humorous, or wild creations). Sculptures should be appreciated in a 360-degree experience. The virtual exhibition area features a circular pedestal 4 inches above ground and 46 inches in diameter. Sculptures can be any height, though those taller than approximately 6 feet may require viewers to scan up and down. Maximum recommended width is 8 feet. All materials and styles are welcome. Your original physical sculpture can be for sale or not for sale. Entry fee: $30. Award: $500 for each of up to 10 artists. Submit 2-10 images of your sculpture from different angles, your name and contact information, sculpture title/dimensions/materials, a 1-2 paragraph artist statement, and optional artist biography/CV.
