Atlanta Print Biennial

The Atlanta Print Biennial is an international juried exhibition open to all artists working in hand-pulled printmaking processes. The exhibit is organized by Atlanta Printmakers Studio and hosted by Kai Lin Art, a contemporary art gallery located in the Westside District of Midtown Atlanta, GA. The exhibition will run November 1-30, 2015, with an opening reception on November 6, 2015. Purchase awards, gift certificates, and cash prizes will be announced during the opening reception.

Artists must be over 18 years old and may submit up to 3 pieces at a $35 application fee. Work must incorporate at least one hand-pulled printmaking process; mixed media works are welcome, but exclusively digital prints or photographs will not be accepted. Framed measurements may not exceed 30 x 40 inches. Submitted images must be clear, professionally presented, and accurately represent the work. Atlanta Printmakers Studio members receive a $10 discount on the entry fee.

Accepted artists will be notified after September 30, 2015. Artwork must be received between October 20-24, 2015 and must be professionally framed, wired, and ready to hang. All work must remain on display for the duration of the exhibition. Artists are responsible for all shipping and insurance costs. Artwork will be available for pick up or return shipping after December 2, 2015. Sales will be encouraged, with artists receiving 50% of the retail price when consigned with Kai Lin Art. The exhibition is juried by Art Werger, a master printmaker and Professor of Art in the Printmaking program at Ohio University.
