About This Call
The 49th Annual Atalaya Arts and Crafts Festival will be held September 26-28, 2025 at Huntington Beach State Park in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. The festival is set at Atalaya, the oceanfront home of famed sculptress Anna Hyatt Huntington. This family-oriented show has established a reputation for quality and diversity since its inception in 1975. Festival hours are noon to 5pm Friday, 10am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday. A daily admission fee is charged; visitors 15 and under are admitted free. Live entertainment and a food court will be provided.
Artists must submit an online application with four images of their work and a non-refundable jury fee of $35.00. Work must be original, designed and made by the exhibitor, and made in the USA. Images must reflect works created within the last five years and should focus on style and techniques. Categories include Basketry, Clay/Porcelain, Glass, Jewelry, Leather/Fiber/Wearable, Original Printmaking, Metal Work, Oil/Acrylic, Paper, Pen/Ink, Photography, Stonework, Watercolor/Pastels, Woodwork, and Other. If submitting in multiple categories, a separate application and jury fee of $35.00 is required for each additional category.
A panel of qualified art professionals will review submitted images. Accepted artists will be notified by June 25, 2025. The exhibitor fee is $275.00, due by July 25, 2025 if accepted. No commissions are charged on work sold at the festival. The last day to request a refund is September 2, 2025, less a $25 processing fee. Setup dates are September 25-26. For questions, contact Gwen Davenport at (803) 734-0767 or [email protected].
