Associated Artists of Winston-Salem Call for Art

Associated Artists of Winston-Salem (AAWS) is accepting submissions for an exhibition. Artists may submit up to 15 artworks for consideration. The organization is looking for a cohesive body of work or collections.

Entry fees are $30 for the first 6 entries and $5 for each additional entry for AAWS members (who must be up-to-date on yearly dues), and $40 for the first 6 entries and $5 for each additional entry for non-members. Entry fees are not refundable and must be submitted and paid by the deadline of April 14, 2025. After submission and payment, artists may log back in to review, edit artist and image information, and add or substitute images until the entry deadline. Entries cannot be accepted or changed after the deadline, and incomplete entries will be disqualified.

Artwork requirements: No piece may exceed 72 inches horizontally or 60 inches vertically, including frame, or 50 pounds in weight. All 2-dimensional works must be finished professionally, wired, and ready to hang. Unframed canvases must have no visible staples and painted sides. Works on paper should be protected by glass or Plexiglass. All types of 2D fine art media are accepted, including hand-pulled prints, original digital prints, and photographs. Printed reproductions and AI-generated work will not be accepted. 3D work may be considered if it can be hung securely on the wall and is subject to approval. Submit high-quality JPEG images at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge with a maximum file size of 30 MB. Images should be cropped to show only the artwork with no frame, matting, or background, and oriented correctly. AAWS reserves the right to use submitted photos for promotional purposes and display them in the Virtual Gallery.
