Artworks Loveland 2020-2021 Exhibition Proposals

Artworks Loveland's Gallery Program in Loveland, Colorado is reviewing proposals for solo and group exhibitions for 2020-2021. The gallery seeks exhibition proposals for innovative, contemporary 2D or 3D art in all genres. All media including installation, performance, video and multimedia are welcome to apply. The exhibition call is moving to a rolling call, with proposals remaining on file and reviewed seasonally in perpetuity. Due to staffing capacity, applicants will not be contacted until a proposal moves forward.

Artworks Loveland is committed to providing opportunity and space for experimentation, freedom and artistic growth while promoting an understanding and appreciation of contemporary art. The gallery encourages exhibition proposals which generate reflection, exchange, connection, and engagement with diverse audiences. Proposals which aim to use the gallery as a space for engaging and interactive programming are highly encouraged. Artworks is an ideal venue for someone looking to challenge or redefine the relationship of their work to their audience.

Proposals should be approximately 500 words accompanied by 6-12 images of proposed artwork, a brief biography, and an artist statement. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit a cohesive body of work along with a detailed proposal describing the logistics of the exhibition. Proposals for artistic performances such as dance, music, and poetry readings will be considered. All artists age 18+ are encouraged to apply. Groups of artists who would like to exhibit together should consolidate their application materials into one submission. Artwork must be professional in context and presentation. Only online entries will be accepted. Artists who plan to ship artwork are responsible for handling shipment and shipping expenses; Artworks Loveland does not provide storage for large crates. Selected visual art proposals will be given an exhibition period of approximately seven to eight weeks. In addition to gallery space, Artworks Loveland offers marketing and event support for exhibitions. Entry fee: $30.00. Up to 3 applications allowed per artist.
