Artworks Center for Contemporary Art Call for Exhibition Proposals for 2023

Artworks Center for Contemporary Art's Gallery Program in Loveland, Colorado is reviewing proposals for solo and group exhibitions for 2023. The center seeks exhibition proposals for innovative, contemporary 2D or 3D art in all genres. All media including installation, performance, video and multimedia are welcome. The exhibition call is moving to a rolling call, with proposals remaining on file and reviewed seasonally in perpetuity. Due to staffing capacity, applicants will not be contacted until a proposal moves forward.

Proposals should be approximately 500 words accompanied by 3-12 images of proposed artwork, along with a brief biography and artist statement. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit a cohesive body of work with a detailed proposal describing the logistics of the exhibition. Proposals for artistic performances such as dance, music, and poetry readings will be considered. All artists age 18+ are encouraged to apply. Groups of artists who would like to exhibit together should consolidate their application materials into one submission. Artwork must be professional in context and presentation. Only online entries will be accepted.

Selected visual art proposals will be given an exhibition period of approximately three months. Artworks offers marketing and event support for exhibitions. Artists who plan to ship artwork are responsible for handling shipment and shipping expenses. Artworks does not provide storage for large crates. The entry fee is $40.00, and applicants may submit up to 2 applications with a maximum of 15 total work samples (1-12 images and 0-3 videos).
