ArtWalk Carlsbad 2026

San Diego's North County has been growing tremendously over the last couple of decades, and ArtWalk Carlsbad encourages artists to tap into this lucrative art market by participating in this fine art festival now in its seventh year. ArtWalk Carlsbad will be offered free to attendees on September 19 & 20, 2026. The event takes place on a wide tree-lined boulevard overlooking the ocean with cool ocean breezes and stunning views making the venue a spectacular backdrop for showcasing art. It is surrounded by thousands of free parking spaces, with special parking provided for artists and ample opportunities for corner spaces and large spaces along the ocean view with spill out room, perfect for displaying sculpture, glasswork, pottery, and more.

ArtWalk Carlsbad is produced by the same team that brings thousands to ArtWalk in Little Italy each April and is heavily marketed and publicized. In addition to fine art on display and for sale, there is a terrific musical lineup, delicious food, and a wine and beer pavilion, as well as interactive art activities for all ages. The show management team is well-known for their expert planning, management, marketing and communication, making participation smooth from application to show breakdown. ArtWalk San Diego events support ArtReach, a not for profit art education program that delivers high quality arts education in local schools county-wide that have no other art resources.

Only fine artists may participate - no buy/sell or imported items are allowed. Artists must provide their own white, professional display tents weighted on all four corners with official flame retardant stamps. Tent rental is available for $300 for a 10' x 10' festival style canopy. Individual artist booth fees are $650 for 10' x 10', $1250 for 10' x 20', and $1850 for 10' x 30'. Artists must be present for full festival hours: 11AM - 6PM Saturday and 10AM - 5PM Sunday. No sales commission is required. All artists must have liability insurance and California seller's permits.
