Artsy, Chic & Vibe Themed Artist Markets

K12 Gallery & TEJAS is seeking artist vendors for their Artsy, Chic & Vibe Themed Artist Markets taking place late summer/early fall in Dayton, Ohio. This series of four themed artist markets will showcase arts, crafts, and handmade goods from the region. Applicants can participate in one or all four markets. Though each market highlights a specific media or age group, artists and craftspeople working in all media are encouraged to apply. Markets will be held both indoors and outdoors at K12 Gallery & TEJAS and will include food trucks, music, and artist demonstrations in conjunction with First Friday and Saturday Art Class events.

Market dates and themes: Friday, August 3, 4-9pm Creative Kids Market; Friday, September 7, 4-9pm Hairy Potters Artist Market; Saturday, September 15, 10am-4pm Print Makers Menagerie Artist Market; Saturday, September 22, 10am-4pm Hot Glass Galore Artist Market. Regional artists from Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky are eligible. Artist attendance is required during selected markets. Indoor booth spaces are approximately 6' x 10' and outdoor spaces are 10' x 10'. All vendors must provide their own freestanding displays, shelves, and tables. Outdoor vendors must provide their own tent. Electricity is limited and provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Vendors receive 100% of sales proceeds and are responsible for collecting payments. All items must have handmade components. Items priced between $3.00 to $500 sell best, especially items under $50.

Submission requires 3-5 images: two showing individual pieces representative of current work and one showing your display booth setup. Include artist statement text and answer questions about which themed markets you wish to participate in, the type of arts/crafts you plan to display, indoor/outdoor preference, electricity needs, and any special requests. Entry fee is $40, which is the only fee required to participate. No staking allowed in parking lot. No pets except service animals. K12 Gallery & TEJAS will provide regional promotion including print and digital ads, social media promotion, and artist website links on K12TEJASGallery.org.
