ARTSWEEK GOLDEN FESTIVAL 2026

The Annual ARTSWEEK GOLDEN FESTIVAL returns for 2026, welcoming artists and friends to downtown Golden. Operated by the staff and volunteers at Foothills Art Center, the festival kicks off a weeklong celebration of the arts. This marks the 8th year of the show, which has gained a reputation as one of the most "artists friendly" festivals around, with several artists breaking personal sales records at past shows.

This juried arts festival occurs June 19-21, 2026, with load-in on Friday, June 19th. The festival features artist booths, demonstrations, and activities for kids, making it a fun and exciting event for all ages. The City of Golden is located just 15 miles west of Denver, nestled at the base of the Rocky Mountains with easy highway access. All invited artists receive access to a private hospitality tent with complimentary refreshments, listing in the official Festival program with full-color thumbnail image, website listing with artist images and links, marketing materials, and access to booth sitters during the festival.

Applications require 5 images including a required booth shot, an artist statement describing materials and technique with value range, and a $35 application fee (limit of 3 applications total). Booth fees are $435 for single, $535 for corner, and $735 for double spaces. The festival is open to individual or co-artists selling original artwork in various mediums, with no dealers, proxies, agents, or representatives permitted. Participating artists must be on-site during all public hours. The festival uses a blind jury process, so submissions must not include artist names or identifying information.
