About This Call
The 29th Annual ArtsThrive Art Exhibition & Benefit is a national juried exhibition held at the Albuquerque Museum, 2000 Mountain Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104. The exhibition runs from October 17 through December 8, 2019.
Artists may apply by March 31, 2019 with a $15.00 application fee. Applicants must submit 4-10 images representing work in one or more of the following categories: representative painting, abstract painting, sculpture & 3D objects, prints (no off-set or giclee), drawing, photography, jewelry, fiber, glass, wood, and pottery/ceramics. Images should include title, price, medium, and size. An artist statement is required. Jury results will be sent via email in June 2019.
Invited artists must adhere to size limitations: 2-D wall-hung artwork is limited to three works, each not exceeding 18 x 18 inches framed/unframed or 36 inches total (height plus width); 3-D case-displayed artwork is limited to two works, each not exceeding 20 inches in any dimension. All artwork is for sale during the exhibition. The Albuquerque Museum Foundation retains 40% of the sale price, with 60% paid to the artist. Artwork must be delivered ready-to-install and completely dry. Wall pieces must be equipped with D-rings as hanging devices. All shipping costs are the artist's responsibility. For online sales beginning October 28, artists must provide high-quality JPEG images (minimum 72dpi) two weeks prior to artwork delivery. Unsold artwork will be returned to the artist 30 days after the exhibition closes.
