About This Call

ArtsThrive Art Exhibition & Benefit 2023 is held at the Albuquerque Museum, 2000 Mountain Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104. The exhibition runs from March 16 through April 14, 2024. This is a national juried exhibition open to US residents age 18 and over. Artists may apply in one or two categories from the following: Representative Painting, Abstract Painting, Sculpture & 3D Objects, Prints (no off-set or giclee), Drawing, Photography, Jewelry, Fiber, Glass, and Pottery/Ceramics. If applying in two categories, separate applications are required.

Applications are accepted from June 12 through August 13, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. MST. The non-refundable entry fee is $25.00. Applicants must submit 3-5 images representing a current body of work created in the past three years. Images must be uploaded as JPG or JPEG files, 5 MB or less, and 1200 pixels or more on the longest side. Each image must include title, price, medium, and size (framed/unframed). An artist statement is required. Jury results will be sent via email by October-November 2023.

Invited artists must follow size limitations: 2-D wall-hung artwork is limited to three works, each not exceeding 18 x 18 inches framed/unframed or 36 inches total (height plus width). 3-D case-displayed artwork is limited to two works, each not exceeding 20 inches in any dimension. Jewelry artists may submit a set of three pieces (one necklace, one bracelet, one pair of earrings) displayed as a set. All artwork is for sale during the exhibition. The Albuquerque Museum Foundation retains 40% of the artist's sale price; the artist receives 60%. Artwork must be delivered ready-to-install and dry to the touch. Wall pieces must be equipped with D-rings or similar hanging devices. All shipping costs are the artist's responsibility. The Museum will insure artwork while on exhibit; artists are responsible for insurance during shipment and return.
