Artspace111: 6th Annual Regional Juried Exhibition

Artspace111 is pleased to announce an open call for submissions for the 6th Annual Artspace111 Regional Juried Exhibition, juried by Hilde Nelson, Curatorial Assistant for Contemporary Art at the Dallas Museum of Art. The competition is open to artists 18 years and older residing in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, and Arkansas. Both 2D and 3D contemporary original artwork are eligible for submission.

The exhibition will be on display June 22 through July 20, 2019, with an opening reception on June 22 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Entry deadline is May 26, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Entry fee is $35 for one image, with additional entries at $5.00 each (limit 5 images). 2D work should not exceed 48 inches in the longest dimension when framed. 3D work intended to hang on a wall cannot exceed 48 x 48 inches; free standing indoor work cannot exceed 6 feet in any dimension; free standing outdoor work must come with proper base for installation. All work must be original, produced within the last two years, and not previously shown at Artspace111.

Selected artists will be invited to exhibit at Artspace111. Over $4,000 will be awarded to the best works in show. Best In Show receives $1,000 and an opportunity to participate in a solo or group exhibition in 2019-2020. All pieces will be for sale at Artspace111 with a 50% gallery commission.
