Artspace111: 5th Annual Regional Juried Exhibition

Artspace111 announces an open call for submissions for the 5th Annual Regional Juried Exhibition, juried by Christina Rees, Editor-in-Chief of Glasstire. The competition is open to 2D and 3D artwork from artists 18 years and older residing in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, and Arkansas. The exhibition runs June 22 through July 28, 2018, with an opening reception on June 22 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Contemporary original 2D work in any media including painting, prints, drawings, photography, and digital images is accepted. 2D work should not exceed 48 inches in the longest dimension when framed. Contemporary original 3D work in any media is also accepted. Wall-hanging 3D work cannot exceed 48 x 48 inches. Free-standing indoor work cannot exceed 6 feet in any dimension. Free-standing outdoor work must include proper base for installation. All work must be original, produced within the last two years, and not previously shown at Artspace111. The digital image submitted must match the piece delivered to the gallery if selected.

Entry fee is $35 for one image, with additional entries at $5.00 each, limited to 5 total submissions. The deadline for online submissions is May 18, 2018. Over $2,000 will be awarded to the best works in show. Best In Show receives a $1,000 prize and an opportunity to participate in a solo or group exhibition in 2018-2019. All pieces will be for sale at Artspace111 with a 50% gallery commission. Artists are responsible for shipping work to and from the gallery.
