Artspace111: 4th Annual Regional Juried Exhibition

Artspace111 announces an open call for submissions for the 4th Annual Regional Juried Exhibition, juried by Shirley Reece-Hughes, Curator of Painting and Sculpture at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. The competition is open to 2D and 3D artwork from artists 18 years and older residing in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, and Arkansas. The exhibition runs June 23 through July 22, with an opening reception on June 23 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Eligible 2D work includes contemporary original paintings, prints, drawings, photography, and digital images, not exceeding 48 inches in the longest dimension when framed. Eligible 3D work includes contemporary original sculpture in any media, with wall-hung pieces not exceeding 48 x 48 inches and free-standing indoor work not exceeding 6 feet in any dimension. All work must be original, produced within the last two years, and not previously shown at Artspace111. 3D artists must deliver and install their own work at their expense; no shipments are accepted.

Entry fee is $35 for one image, with additional images at $5 each (limit 3 images total). Submissions are due May 31. Over $2,000 will be awarded to the best works in show. Best in Show receives a $1,000 prize and the opportunity to exhibit in a solo or group show in 2017-2018. All accepted work will be insured at the gallery but not in transit.
