Artspace111: 3rd Annual Regional Juried Exhibition

Artspace111 announces an open call for submissions for the 3rd Annual Regional Juried Exhibition, juried by Eric M. Lee, Director of the Kimbell Art Museum. The exhibition will be open June 24th through August 6th with an opening reception on June 24th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Eligibility is open to artists 18 years and older residing in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Louisiana, and Arkansas. Contemporary original 2D and 3D works are accepted. 2D work should not exceed 48" in the longest dimension when framed. 3D wall-hanging work cannot exceed 48" x 48"; free-standing indoor work cannot exceed 6 feet in any dimension; free-standing outdoor work must include proper base for installation. All work must be original, produced within the last two years, and not previously shown at Artspace111. Submissions are limited to 1-3 images at $35 for the first image and $5.00 for each additional image.

Over $2,000 will be awarded to the best works in show. Best In Show receives a $1,000 prize and an opportunity to exhibit in a solo or group show in 2016-2017. Selected artists will be invited to exhibit at Artspace111. All pieces will be for sale with the gallery retaining 50% commission. Work will be insured at Artspace111 but not in transit. 2D artists are responsible for shipping; 3D artists must deliver and pick up artwork (no shipments accepted).
