Artspace: FRESH

FRESH is open to artists 18+ who are working in North Carolina. All media welcome. Work must be less than two years old, available for purchase, and limited in size to 48" in any direction. Artists may submit one piece.

Artists must submit an online application by May 21 and deliver actual artwork to Artspace during business hours (10am-6pm) on May 21, 22, or 23, 2015. Two events held before the jurying process will allow all artists who submit artwork to show and sell work to Artspace visitors before the juried exhibition opens June 5th. Submission fees are $15 for members and $25 for non-members.

All artwork must be available for sale. Artists will receive 50% commission from sales and may choose to donate all or a portion of their commission to Artspace (tax-deductible). The exhibition will be juried by Cora Fischer, Curator of Contemporary Art at the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art in Winston-Salem, NC. Cash awards include Best in Show ($500), 2nd place ($250), 3rd place ($100), and People's Choice ($75). Awards will be announced on Friday, June 5th.
