Artspace Call for Exhibition Proposals

Artspace is seeking innovative work for solo and/or group exhibitions from artists working in 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional media. Both emerging and established artists are eligible. Exhibitions will be scheduled for 2012 and beyond.

Exhibitions run for 6-8 weeks with an opening reception held during First Friday Gallery Walks. Many exhibits include a gallery talk or artist's talk. All exhibits are supported by press and insurance coverage and are free and open to the public. Works may be for sale; however, Artspace does not place an emphasis on the sale of artwork but rather on the educational aspect of the exhibitions. Artspace takes a 30% commission on works sold in the galleries.

Applicants may submit up to 13 artwork samples (up to 10 images and up to 3 videos). All work must be original works of art created by the artist within the last two years.
