Arts & the Park Art Fest

Arts & the Park Art Fest is a free outdoor juried festival held at Hill Wheatley Plaza in downtown historic Hot Springs on Saturday, May 9, 2015, from 10 am to 6 pm. The festival features Arkansas artists and artisans exhibiting original work.

Eligibility: Open to all Arkansas artists 18 years or older. Entry fee is $20. Artists must submit 4 images representative of their work. All art must be original and created by the applicant; reproductions may comprise no more than 25% of inventory. Artists may only exhibit works in the medium they were juried into and may sell only accurate representations of submitted photos. Artist attendance is required for the duration of the festival, and artists are encouraged to demonstrate their art in their booth.

Booth Information: Single booths are 10' x 10' ($50 without electric, $60 with electric); double booths are 20' x 10' ($100 without electric, $120 with electric). Up to 40 booths may be assigned. Artists are responsible for providing their own tents, tables, chairs, displays, grounded extension cords, tent weights, and booth signage. All tables must be draped to the ground, and all boxes and packing materials must be hidden from view. No televisions, radios, CD players, or generators are permitted during festival hours. All prices must be clearly marked with no sales or discount signs permitted. Artists are responsible for delivery, setup, removal of work and equipment, and maintaining a clean booth area. The event will proceed rain or shine; in case of inclement weather, the event may be moved to a nearby covered venue on Exchange Street. Setup is 7:00 am – 9:45 am; all vehicles must be moved off grounds by 8:30 am. Tear down is 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. There will be no refunds or credits given.
