About This Call
Be part of Arts in the Heart of Augusta, an award-winning festival celebrating its 44th year in downtown Augusta, Georgia. For 2½ days, the city transforms into a vibrant hub of creativity, featuring a nationally ranked Fine Arts & Fine Crafts Market, five stages of live entertainment, and a Global Village offering authentic international cuisine. Recognized as one of Sunshine Artist's Top 200 Festivals for nine consecutive years and named among the Top Festivals of the Decade (2010-2020), Arts in the Heart has also earned the Silver Kaleidoscope Award for Best Festival from SFEA. With 80,000+ attendees, this is a prime opportunity to connect with enthusiastic art lovers and collectors. Festival hours: Friday, 5 PM – 9 PM; Saturday, 11 AM – 9 PM; Sunday, 11 AM – 7 PM.
The Fine Arts and Fine Crafts Market features 150 booth spaces (10' x 10') on paved streets in downtown Augusta. Artists receive free electricity, artist profiles on the festival website, extensive marketing promotion, and access to booth sitters. Free RV parking and nearby parking are available, with many spaces directly behind booths. The festival welcomes fine artists and fine crafters who handcraft their own original work - absolutely no mass production, buy/sell, or outsourced manufacturing. Artists must be present for the entire festival and provide all booth furnishings including tables, chairs, and display walls.
To apply, submit a ZAPPlication with a non-refundable $30 jury fee by May 23, 2025. Applications require five high-quality images of work, one booth shot, average price points, and a short artist statement. Artists will be notified by June 8, 2025. During the festival, $1,500 in prizes is awarded across Fashion, 2-D Artwork, and 3-D Artwork categories. Booth fees are $300 for single booths (10'x10') and $600 for double booths (10'x20'), with optional tent rental for $250. Artists must collect 8% Georgia sales tax and are responsible for their own insurance.
