About This Call
The Arts Festival of Carrollton celebrates its 23rd year on October 10-11, 2026, hosted by the Carrollton Center for the Arts and the Carrollton Artists' Guild. The festival is located in and around the Center for the Arts in downtown Carrollton, Georgia. The festival will host approximately 55 juried exhibitors across a well-balanced range of media.
Applications are accepted beginning March 11, 2026, with a deadline of June 10, 2026. The jury convenes between June 17-30, 2026, with artist notification on July 8, 2026. Artist acceptance invitation and purchase deadline is August 12, 2026. Setup occurs Friday, October 9, beginning at 9 am, with festival hours Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. Application fee is $30; single booth fee is $175; double booth fee is $350.
The festival offers $5,000 in cash awards including $2,000 for Best in Show, $500 each for Best in Art and Best in Craft, and additional merit and category awards. Amenities include host families for artists, Friday night artist reception with hors d'oeuvres and beverages, Saturday artist dinner, booth sitters, hotel discounts, 24-hour security, and extensive advertising. The Courtyard by Marriott hotel adjacent to the Arts Center offers discounts for visiting artists.
Eligibility: Open to artists 18 years and older exhibiting original work. Artists must be present with their work for the duration of the show. All work must be handmade originals, not mass-produced. The festival accepts work in 2D media (painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, digital art) and 3D media. Reproductions and prints must be labeled and displayed in bins, not exceeding 10 linear feet. Works made with commercial kits, molds, or patterns will not be accepted.
