Arts Explosion Arts Festival

The Federal Way Arts Commission is hosting the Arts Explosion Arts Festival during June 2-4, 2023. This is a juried art show in three categories: Photography/Digital, Two-Dimensional artwork, and Three-Dimensional artwork. The festival will feature the diversity of Federal Way and celebrate artistic development and community engagement.

A maximum of two entries per artist is permitted with an entry fee of $45. Artists may enter more than one category. Submit digital images of the work(s) you are entering. All entries will be juried from digital images, and invitations will be given to join. Awards will be judged by jurors from the original works of art.

Entries must be original, entirely the work of the entrant, and executed within the past three years (since March 15, 2020). Work must have been done without the supervision of an instructor. Copies of existing artworks or works solely based on copyrighted artworks are not eligible. All work must be gallery-ready for display, with appropriate framing, hanging wires, and supports. No saw-tooth hangers or ring hangers are allowed. Submit 1-2 work samples (images and/or audio files) with your application.
