Arts Elevated at RST 2023

Arts Elevated at RST is a partnership between the Rochester International Airport and the Greater Rochester Arts and Cultural Trust to showcase Minnesota and regional artists within the airport's main terminal. The program aims to enhance the traveling experience and create a sense of place and connection to the local community through visual art.

This exhibition is open to all Minnesota and regional artists with no entry application fee. Artists may submit up to 3 original 2D artworks in any media. Submissions must be in high-resolution JPEG format. Works may not exceed 48" tall and 48" wide and must be professionally presented and ready for secure installation. Framed pieces must be equipped with stretched wire; gallery wrap finished edges are acceptable. Subject matter is open, though travelers have indicated preference for local and Minnesota content.

Selected artwork will be displayed for nine months. If sold during this period, the Rochester International Airport receives a 20% commission and the artist receives 80%. Artists must sign a consignment agreement. Due to legal concerns, shipping is not available; artists must deliver and pick up artwork at the airport by appointment Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm between November 30-December 9, 2022.
