Arts, Beats & Eats 2026

Celebrating its 29th year, Arts, Beats & Eats is a juried fine art show held in downtown Royal Oak, Michigan during Labor Day Weekend 2026 (September 4-7). The event draws over 300,000 people and features art, music, and food from around the state and country. The art show has been consistently ranked in the top 100 shows by Sunshine Artist Magazine.

Artists receive a 10' x 10' booth space with electricity included. Booth fees are $600 for standard spaces, $1200 for double booths (10' x 20'), $1400 for open air booths, and $175 for emerging artist booths. Premium corner spaces are $300 and regular corner spaces are $200. Amenities include free artist parking, hot beverages and lunch provided daily, 24-hour security, vehicle loading at booth space, artist lounge with restrooms, and an artist award cocktail reception with $7,000 in prize money. Discounted hotel rates are available at a nearby host hotel.

Artists must submit five images: four of individual pieces representing their body of work and one booth display shot. The online jury process is anonymous, with scoring based on originality and creativity, design, technique, craftsmanship, display, and production method. Artists must be present for all four days of the event. Work must be original, hands-on fine art; AI-generated art is strictly forbidden. Reproductions are limited to 25% of work shown and must be signed, numbered limited editions clearly labeled as reproductions. Booth fees must be received by June 15, 2026, or within 30 days of acceptance notification. Refunds are issued with a $50 administration fee for cancellations received by July 15, 2026.
