About This Call
Arts @ Altitude is a juried art show taking place Friday, September 5 & Saturday, September 6, 2025, hosted by the Summit County Arts Council in Frisco, Colorado. Set in view of the Ten-Mile Range at 9,100 feet altitude, the show is held in conjunction with Frisco's annual Fall Fest on Main Street in Frisco's Historical Park. The festival embraces the Colorado Mountain lifestyle and takes advantage of the beautiful fall atmosphere.
This is a juried show requiring original artwork produced directly by the artist. Artist attendance is required both days, and the Summit County Arts Council makes final artist selections while striving for variety and balance across genres. Applications require four digital images via Zapp: three showing individual pieces of current work and one booth setup image. A brief artist statement describing artwork, process, and experience is also requested. The application fee is $25 non-refundable.
Booth spaces are 10x10 (single, $300) or 10x20 (double, $550) and artists must provide their own free-standing display booth suitable for outdoor conditions with wind protection weights required. Show hours are 10am-5pm both days, with setup Thursday September 4th noon-5pm and Friday morning by 10am. Security is provided overnight, and artists receive morning refreshments, lunch, and booth sitting assistance. Limited electricity is available on first-come-first-served basis, and artists are responsible for Colorado sales tax licensing and collection.
