Arts Alive Festival 2019

Arts Alive Festival is a one-day outdoor art event held on May 4th, 10am-5pm at Studio Channel Islands, 2222 Ventura Blvd, Camarillo, CA 93010. The festival features over 100 artists, art studios, and art organizations across 8 acres, with live music, food trucks, entertainment, wine and beer gardens, and a variety of microbrews and domestic beers. Free admission and parking are provided.

The festival is open to all artists creating original art in 2D, 3D, or performance mediums, including mixed media, ceramics, digital art, drawing, fiber, functional art, glass, jewelry, painting, performance, photography, printmaking, sound art, sculpture, woodwork, and other categories. Studio Channel Islands is especially interested in artist demonstrations, live painting, performance-based work, artist talks, and presentations. Entry fee is $15, with a booth fee of $150 for a 10x10 plot (does not include tent or rental display materials). Tents, tables, chairs, and display units may be rented from Studio Channel Islands at additional cost. Upon acceptance, artists receive a confirmation packet with booth number and vendor instructions. Camarillo business license and liability insurance are paid for by Arts Alive. A suggested 10% donation to Studio Channel Islands is requested. Application deadline is April 5th, 2019, with final notification sent within 5 days. Booth fee payment is due by April 26th, 2019 and is non-refundable. Space is limited and the festival has sold out every year. Applicants must submit an artist statement describing materials used.
