Arts Alive Festival 2018

Arts Alive Festival is a two-day event taking place May 26th, 10am-5pm and May 27th, 11am-3pm at Studio Channel Islands, 2222 Ventura Blvd, Camarillo, CA 93010. The festival features over 100 artists, art studios, and art organizations across 8 acres, with live music, food trucks, entertainment, wine and beer gardens, and variety of microbrews and domestic beers. Free admission and parking. The festival is especially interested in artist demonstrations, live painting, performance-based work, artist talks, and presentations.

Eligibility is open to all artists creating original art in 2D, 3D, or performance mediums, including mixed media, ceramics, digital art, drawing, fiber, functional art, glass, jewelry, painting, performance, photography, printmaking, sound art, sculpture, woodwork, and other mediums. Applicants must submit an artist statement describing materials and include three images of work plus one image of display if applicable.

Entry fee is $15 with application. Upon acceptance, booth fees are $150 for a 10x10 space for both days or $100 for a single day (does not include tent or rental display materials). Tents, tables, chairs, and display units may be rented from Studio Channel Islands at additional cost. Camarillo business license and liability insurance are paid for by Arts Alive.
