ArtPop Peoria 2017

ArtsPartners of Central Illinois announces a call for entries to the third annual ArtPop Peoria, which displays the work of local artists on Adams Outdoor 48' x 14' billboards seen by thousands of local residents. This represents approximately $15,000 in free advertising. Winning artists will be featured at CIAO First Friday at The Studios on Sheridan gallery and on the ArtsPartners website.

Eligibility: You must be a resident of Peoria, Tazewell, or Woodford counties and at least 18 years old. Previous ArtPop Peoria winners are not eligible. Work must fit the 48' x 14' billboard proportions; submissions with incorrect proportions will not be accepted. All art is subject to approval, and no offensive or slanderous work will be accepted. 3D and performance artists may enter if they can photographically represent their work.

Submission Requirements: Artists may submit up to 3 pieces for a $20 fee. Images must be JPEG format, 1920 x 500 pixels, 72 ppi/dpi, and no larger than 5 MB. Deadline is February 28, 2017. Winning artists will be announced at a reveal party on April 5, 2017, and their work will be displayed on billboards from June 2017 through June 2018. A jury will select four winning artists, and the public will vote for one People's Choice Award winner. Winning artists must provide final artwork at 24.333" w x 6.333" h @300 dpi (7300x1900 pixels) in JPEG format, 300 dpi, CMYK. All production costs for billboard printing will be covered by the project.
