About This Call
ArtsPartners of Central Illinois invites artists from Peoria, Tazewell, and Woodford counties to submit work for consideration in ArtPop Peoria. The program will feature the work of five selected artists on Adams Outdoor Advertising billboards (14' x 48') throughout the region from June 2015 to June 2016. Each billboard displays the artist's work along with their name, and all production costs are covered by the project.
A jury will select five winning artists from submissions. One of the five artists will be selected by public voting as a People's Choice Award. The five selected artists will also be featured on the ArtsPartners website with links to their individual sites. ArtPop is a national program that also showcases artists in Charlotte, NC, and Lehigh Valley, PA.
Eligible artists may submit up to 3 pieces of 2-D or 3-D work. Entry fee is $20. Images must be submitted in JPEG format at 1920 x 560 pixels, 72 ppi/dpi resolution, with a maximum file size of 5 MB. The submission deadline is April 16, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. MDT. Winners will be announced in May 2015.
