ArtPop Las Vegas

ArtPop Las Vegas is a public art project that places selected artists' work on large format and digital billboards throughout the Las Vegas valley. Seven artists will be chosen to have their work displayed on billboards donated by OUTFRONT Media and Lamar, representing a $54,000 value in advertising space. Each billboard reaches an average of 289,993 impressions per 4 weeks. Selected artists will receive a $500 cash award from the City of Las Vegas office of Cultural Affairs.

Eligibility requirements: You must be at least 18 years old, reside in Clark County, provide an artist statement and CV, and have not been an ArtPop artist in the last three years. Submissions must be original work created in the last two years and the work of one individual only. All artistic disciplines are welcome. Submit a 704px by 200px .jpg image (no larger than 5mb) along with an artist statement that includes your medium, website URL, social media accounts, and explanation of why you want to participate. Work depicting nude subjects or slanderous content will not be accepted.

A six-member jury of arts professionals, collectors, and ArtPop alumni will judge submissions. Winners will be notified by email by the first week of April. Selected artists must provide a final 300dpi-resolution image and are invited to an artist reveal reception on April 8 from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Zappos downtown campus. Entry deadline: March 16, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. PST.
