ArtPop Cities Program Class of 2025

ArtPop Street Gallery invites artists within the Charlotte-metropolitan region (NC & SC) to apply for the Cities Program Class of 2025. The Cities Program is an annual juried exhibition that brings the "gallery" to the streets on billboards, signs, digital displays, and more.

If selected, your winning submission will appear on one of 20 printed vinyl billboards provided by Adams Outdoor Advertising for a 12-month period (January-December 2025). Each of the 20 selected artists (19 adults and 1 high school senior) will also receive numerous digital displays by Awedience Media and Lamar Advertising, along with benefits including educational opportunities, features at artist events, and connection to a thriving creative community. Selected artists will be notified on or by November 11, 2024.

Applicants must submit one artwork cropped to 24"L x 7"H rectangle specifications. All disciplines are welcome. Adult applicants must be 18 years or older with an active artist website (Etsy and Instagram do not qualify). High school seniors planning to study the arts in higher education may apply without a website. Applicants must reside in one of the following counties: Cabarrus, Catawba, Cleveland, Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, Rowan, Stanly, or Union (NC), or York or Lancaster (SC). Work must be original, created within the last three years, and cannot depict brands/logos, copyrighted materials, nude subjects, slanderous content, political/religious causes, or be made entirely using AI. Entry fee is $30 for adults and $10 for students. A jury of art professionals will conduct blind judging. If selected, artists must sign an artist agreement, submit a high-resolution CMYK file, add a clickable link to ArtPopStreetGallery.com on their website, make one social media post per month with required tags, and attend the Reveal Event on December 12, 2024 at Le Meridien Hotel Charlotte-Sheraton.
