Artopia 2021

SCORE (Southern California Open Regional Exhibitions) invites artists to enter Artopia, a virtual exhibit open to all genres of art except video. Artwork will be juried using digital images (JPGs), with video of 2D and 3D art permitted as accompaniment.

Eligibility is open to all artists worldwide. Entries must be original works created within the last three years and not previously shown at any SFVACC/SCORE exhibit. Artists may submit up to six original artworks as high-resolution JPGs (maximum 5MB each). Video submissions are limited to two files. The entry fee is $35 for the first artwork, with additional entries at $5 each. All submissions must be made by July 6, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. MST. Acceptance notifications will be sent July 16-18, 2021, with the exhibit opening August 1, 2021 and closing August 31, 2021.

Awards include Best of Show ($800), 1st Place ($400), 2nd Place ($300), and up to four Honorable Mention certificates. The juror is Quinton Bemiller, an Associate Professor of Art at Norco College with extensive experience organizing exhibitions and serving as a juror for Southern California art organizations. A virtual artists' reception will be held August 7, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. PST, with participating artists invited to introduce themselves in one-minute time slots. Sales are handled directly between artists and buyers with no commission to SFVACC.
