About This Call
ARToberfest is a juried indoor art and craft festival held at 17 Springs Event Center in Millbrook, Alabama. The event takes place September 4–5, 2026, and accepts applications from both artists and non-artist vendors. The facility is fully indoor, climate-controlled, and located 10 minutes north of Montgomery, drawing from a 386,000+ metro population across Montgomery, Elmore, and Autauga counties.
Accepted art media includes candlemaking, ceramics, clay, digital, fiber, food and beverage, furniture, glass, jewelry, leatherwork, metalsmithing, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, drawing, sculpture, wood, and resin. All work must be original and handcrafted by the applicant. Artists are required to be present throughout the event to engage with patrons and must exhibit for both days. Commercially manufactured items are not acceptable.
Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis with weekly jurying by category. The application deadline is May 1, 2026 (or until full). Application fees are $25 (early bird until 5/1/2026) or $35 (late fee after 5/2/2026). Artists must provide their own display booths, tables, racks, and chairs for their 10'x10' booth space. Upon receiving an invitation to participate, booth fees must be submitted immediately to secure the space. Artists are responsible for all setup, security, and cleanup of their exhibits. Sales tax of 7% (9% for food and beverage) must be collected and submitted to the Chamber office by 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. No gas-powered generators or amplified music are permitted. Smoking, tobacco use, firearms, weapons, overnight camping, and animals (except service animals) are prohibited.
